Hi, I’m Dr. Rhoberta Shaler, The Relationship Help Doctor. I coined the term “Hijackals®” for “people who hijack relationships, for their own purposes, while relentlessly scavenging them for power, status, and control.”

These are people who exhibit narcissistic behaviors, but likely are not diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (which is actually quite rare). People who are chronically hard to live with, who what to always be in control of everything, who are “perfect” in public but not so much a home…

They may also be people who use tactics like passive aggressive communication, isolation, manipulation, triangulation, gas lighting and love bombing.

You may have one in your life. I certainly have had more than one. That’s what led me to focusing on understanding, navigating, and getting out from under them and breaking the cycles of emotional abuse that come from being impacted by one.

What you will learn in this ebook can make a HUGE difference in how you think about yourself, your relationships, and your personal power for stopping the crazy-making!

We think of them as difficult people…at a minimum. I say they fall into the category of “Relentlessly Difficult People.” Everyone has trouble with them at some time, and those at home have trouble with them most of the time.
